WOMEN RISKTAKERS by Patricia Bailey depicts the lives of some of the greatest women of strength in the Bible. We take a look into the lives of Rahab, Esther, Hagar, Jochebed, Hannah and many more. Each of the women portrayed took risks by going outside of the box. They stood their ground often times when the end result could have been their death. Their faith in God was all they needed to persevere. They allowed themselves to decrease while the Christ in them increased.
You don't have to be born into wealth or be a celebrity to be used by God. Rahab a prostitute, Esther, an orphaned Jew, and Hagar, a servant, were all used by God in a very profound way. Some of the obstacles they encountered made the trials and tribulations I endure appear trivial in comparison. The faith, courage and strength the women displayed are undoubtedly characteristics all women should strive to possess.
WOMEN RISKTAKERS is an inspiring book that encourages you to listen to God and allow him to lead you on your pathway to success. Reading about these powerful yet humble women of the Bible enabled me to see that I, too, can rise to greatness. By stepping back and removing self, you then allow God into your heart, and he will lead you to your divine purpose. His plan may not be the plan you have for your life, but undeniably it is the best plan. Women Risktakers is a well written depiction of great women of the Bible who because of their strong faith in GOD, allowed Him to use their lives for His purpose. A very accurate portrayal of the power that GOD gives to those who are willing to press through the obstacles in life.
Women Risktakers is a strong and compelling testimony of courage and faith with authentic examples for the women of today. I've had the pleasure of hearing Dr. Patricia speak at my place of worship and her anointing is clear and evident in this book just as it is in person. Higly recommended!

Dr. Bailey has a way of making these characters come to life and showing you that there is ABSOLUTELY NOTHING you can't accomplish in life. This book, "Women Risktakers," will make you get out of your comfort zone. You can't walk on the water unless you get out of the boat! Dr. Pat Bailey is a living testimony of one who has the courage of Esther, the wisdom of Abigail, the strength of Deborah and the humility of Hannah. She has served in over 100 countries including India after the tsumani.
I loved this book. It changed my life! My prayer group read it and loved it too! This book would make a great Bible study. A real page-turned. Better than a Hershey's bar.
